• Led the defense of a statewide elected officeholder in politically-inspired bribery and corrupt influence investigation conducted by Public Integrity section of a District Attorney’s office controlled by the opposing party; discovered that prosecutors were going to procure ambush felony indictment against client three days before statewide election; conducted intensive covert investigation undermining allegations and documenting campaign finance fraud committed by opponent; presented documentation privately to District Attorney two days prior to intended indictment, forcing prosecutor to back down.
